Beginnings in Freeform Crochet

Freeform crochet is a unique approach to crochet that encourages creativity and experimentation. Unlike traditional crochet patterns that dictate specific stitches and techniques, freeform crochet allows you to create one-of-a-kind pieces using a variety of stitches, textures, and colors. With this technique, you have the freedom to explore different shapes and sizes, mix and match yarns, and create your own designs.

In our workshop, you will learn the fundamentals of freeform crochet, including basic stitches, color blending, and shaping techniques. You will also have the opportunity to experiment with different yarns and textures, and learn how to combine them to create stunning, organic designs. By the end of the workshop, you will have completed a unique and beautiful freeform crochet piece that you can proudly display or wear.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced crocheter, freeform crochet is a fun and rewarding technique that can take your crochet skills to the next level. Join our workshop and unlock your creativity with freeform crochet!

Level: Intermediate/ advanced

You need to be able to crochet the following stitches: chain stitch, slip stitch, and treble crochet. It is possible to have a short repetition of the various stitches at the beginning. If you want to learn the basics of crochet, please take a look at the ‘Beginner Crochet Courses’ that I am offering on a regular basis.
